Today, low energy and Passivhaus experts, Green Building Store, has released its new range of windows and doors with its highest ever energy efficiency, airtightness, security and weather tightness. The products will be officially launched at the Homebuilding and Renovating Show in Harrogate.
Today, low energy and Passivhaus experts, Green Building Store, has released its new range of windows and doors with its highest ever energy efficiency, airtightness, security and weather tightness. The products will be officially launched at the Homebuilding and Renovating Show in Harrogate.
The new triple glazed range, which has U values as low as 0.71 W/m2K for some products, introduces a new slimmer frame whilst maintaining dual compression seals that achieve class 4 long term airtightness standards across all products. All windows and doors in the range are available as timber and aluminium clad timber, inward or outward opening.
The slimmer frame profiles of the new range increase the glazed area whilst still maintaining high thermal performance, security and weather performance. Secured by Design (SBD) is an option across all products, and all windows and doors have achieved class 9a water tightness.
Bespoke and made-to-measure options are possible, so both windows and doors are available in many shapes, sizes and designs. The timber and aluminium clad frames are available in any of the 216 RAL classic colours and a range of wood stains.
