Ecobuild Film Festival

21°s Denby Dale film among those showcased

For the very first time  Ecobuild will be hosting a short film festival, curated by designer Henrietta Lynch. The festival will take place on Thursday 07 March and will be opened by Jonathon Porritt. The festival comprises a selection of archive and new films on the broad theme of regeneration.

The aim of the festival is to show the unique power that film has to communicate the achievements and struggles of delivering a sustainable built environment. It is also to stimulate those involved in delivering this environment to document their activities through film and animation and communicate their endeavours to a wider audience.

The Festival will also herald the launch of the ‘Golden Brick’ award for construction industry film-makers.

21° is delighted that extracts from our Denby Dale Passivhaus film have been selected for the Festival. We will be in attendance on the day and are pleased to support the event as a Silver Sponsor. All attendees at the Festival will have the chance to register for a free DVD of the Denby Dale Passivhaus technical film (worth £12).
